hi,
to make things short i have five copies of linux. the
only one i have got to install is red hat 7.0. and
work, but i went over it with win xp.

i heard great things about linux in the yr 2000. i
also heard mandrake is easy to use and good for
starters.
so i backup, scan and defrag my hard drive on went off
to install mandrake.

i get to the prompt where is display the msg, press
enter to install or f1 for more options. i press enter
to install. the problesm starts not long after this.
its display a msg saying loading stuff into memory and
i see the red progress bar getting bigger after a long
time watching it. then bang! it comes up with a msg
like this...

:-( can not fix these problems.
eg: cant not access /user/bin/aver.tar.gz or somthing
like that. then saids please restart your computer.

all the copies of linux i can't install but one.
i have tested these CDs of two different computers and
the same things happen.
