You're kidding, right? Terrabyte backup solutions, and you want it on ONE
tape?

Seriously - talk to a professional. I work in a data centre which backs up
that kind of data daily - and the tape robots and routines
are...interesting, to say the least.

There are DLT drives which do 80 gig - maybe 100, although I haven't seen
one - but they're expensive. Especially if you include a robot tape
changer. And that's not even considering the cost of tapes {if you want to
keep the data for 3 years - and if it's financial data, you're _legally_
required to keep it for at least 7, possibly 15} to replace the ones which
expire/become useless {tapes only last 12 months maximum}.

Just how are you defining a terrabyte? Assuming it's 1000 gigabytes {the
commonest definition these days} - with 100 gig drives, you're talking 40
to 50 drives to do ONE backup at your specified level - and it's going to
grow?

Get a 44 gallon drum, and fill it with money. Then get another one and do
the same. Then you might have enough.
