seconded. I joined zip right way back when they were starting up and only had a couple hundred users. Been there ever since. I've signed many friend and clients up with them as well over the years. Back then they seemed to have the right attitude, and I'm happy that that's been carried on with the takeover by Pacific. They're the only ISP I've ever dealt with where I can call tech support and talk to an equal - so many other places you call you get someone who's either a) patronising or b) stupid. And even the sales team have half a clue too, which is more important than you might think.for the provider, I use optus cable, but I've heard good stuff about pacific internet. And they own zip, which is I my original isp.
but I'm realistic. s**t happens. Their PABX went doolally today right when i really really REALLY needed to call them about something.
but hey, you get that. :-) it's all sorted now.
