Hi,
Does anyone know of a decent reference for winbind? Especially with respect
to Samba. We are using winbind to do ntlm authetication to squid in the
background and I am now trying to setup so that Squid can read the NT
groups, but that is nto the problem for here.
Ever since I setup winbind I have had a problem mapping a samba share to my
a drive on my windows box. The best I can do is Read-Only. I can see that
when I do this the connected user and group are:

ourdomain\our_domain_admin and ourdomain\Domain

why it should be the domain admin user I am not sure and the NT group
"Domain" does not exist, however the adminuser is in group "Domain Admins".
I have tried adding these as username and as domain\username and the group
"Domain Admins" to the write list but to no avail. If I add anything to
"valid users" then I can't map the drive at all.

Any clues appreciated
