1. apt-get install smbclient...samba is the server so it doesn't need to
mount

2. uname -r

3. as I said before you need to install the alsa-modules for your kernel
try 'apt-get install alsa-modules-`uname -r`' -- note that those are
backticks not single quotes around the uname -r
