I think I'll just have to stick to RH: too old a dog obviously to learn new tricks. pppconfig + pon do not seem to log into ppp--as best I can tell. wvdial does...I can ping some numerical URIs, though no DSNs. ?? cannot remember any website URI ## to try a browser on/ But no resolving of names ..
