I've got a averTV98 and a Leadtek 2000XP Deluxe and while both of them seem to work ok they have their share of problems. The Leadtek loses sync throughout the recording (probably a software problem) and the sound on both of them is pretty poor. Also if you don't have perfect reception (as i don't) its pretty hard to capture anything with a decent codec as the snow and noise screw up the commpression algorithms and make the record file sizes hugue. Apparently these guys - http://www.digitalnow.com.au/ - now stock digital tuner cards. This seems like the best solution as you just copy the mpeg2 stream directly to the disk. > > Andrew d -- Myles Byrne <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ByrneWebServices -- SLUG - Sydney Linux User's Group - http://slug.org.au/ More Info: http://lists.slug.org.au/listinfo/slug
