Robert, firstly, listen to what Jeff Waugh asks/tells you he KNOWS! Take a deep breath... Send the list your /etc/apt/sources.list so we can try and fix it. I like to use the JDK straight from SUN (java.sun.com), it is quite straight forward to install.
