rpm -ql bash | grep bin rpm -ql bash2 | grep bin You'll probably find you do indeed have two bashs installed, one that 6.2 originally came with, one newer (bash2), each with seperate binaries.
I think you should be able to get rid of bash2 and its dependencies.
