For my first foray into Linux, I have tried a partitionless install of Red Hat Linux
6.2
with Windows 98 (yes, I'm a bit ancient, the CD came with APC, probably some
time last century). All seemed to go well right to the end and I created the boot
floppy said to be necessary for a partitionless re-boot. However, when I re-boot
the computer Win98 appears as usual and there is no sign of anything to do with
Linux. When I activate the floppy there is a "not formatted" message. Any help
would be appreciated. Jackson.
