Check my X-Operating-System header. :-) Works well here (home desktop only), but there are some scheduling issues that make listening to ogg files and moving windows reasonably annoying. There have been some patches around to fix up those however, so I will probably try those and -test2 at some stage. Ready-to-wear ALSA support is nice, and there are some nice optimisations throughout (especially if you're on SMP).
