Most of the ESS chipsets are handled by the kernel's sb driver.  I think
this one's in the same boat, but with ESS making all their damn model
numbers almost the same, it's hard to be sure.  But it's certainly worth a
try.  Make sure ISA PnP is enabled in the kernel as well, though.

Probably.  The ESS never was real hot on quality.
