Why Australian particularly?  Is there something specific to the Australian
environment which makes the decision as to whether to make the switch
massively different to that of other countries?

If not, I find Ernie Ball's case (discussed here very recently) quite
illuminating for customers - he's not a slobbering anti-MS nut, just a bloke
who got hit by the SPA juggernaut and decided to make the change, and found
it was a change for the better.
