Hi : I download the package Filter-1.26 from CPAN. I'm having problems understanding how to use this package to get Perl code to go through the filter before compilation.
If anyone has used this or have experience with this would it be possible to get a quick run down on how to get a simple Perl script to pass through this package before compilation and then execute the code. Also does this method clearly prevents anyone from seeing the source code of a Perl script ? Are there any dangers that part of the code may not execute as expected when passed through this package ? My objective is to get all my POD formatted scripts and main scripts to pass through a Filter before compilation. I'm basically looking for a way to prevent users from seeing the source code of the Perl scripts. Am I on the right track with this package ? Thanks in advance.
