cdrdao. See <http://cdrdao.sourceforge.net/> Should be able to handle the recording side of things without problems. Can brun from WAV files, create hidden files, CD-TEXT support, full control over pre-gaps etc. Wonderful little program. Won't do the cross fades, but create a WAV or CDDA trace, create the appropriate TOC file for cdrdao and you are in business.
