USB is a bit trickier to setup. I've just been through setting up my Treo 600 and now it all works fine :-) This pages will get you through a fair bit: http://www.faqs.org/docs/Linux-mini/Handspring-Visor.html What are you trying to use for syncing? I was using gnome-pilot but swapped to multisync when gnome-pilot wouldn't work with my Treo :-( I've since found out that gnome-pilot needed to be a patched witht he Treo's model number which I did and it works fine again.
