Definitely get it to try out your amd64 system. The SuSE port is already quite polished. I've never been a fan of SuSE the distro [1], but I think it's going to improve leaps and bounds with Novell's backing (and some influence from Ximian). I'm certainly watching it, even though I've been incredibly happy with Debian commercially and at home for some years now. - Jeff [1] It's always seemed to me like they made a quantity vs. quality choice, but went for quantity. That's a valid choice if you have an open development community and lots of maintainers, but for a relatively small company? Hrm.
