I'm a happy user of Smoothwall 1.0, but as I'm about to make a new gateway box
I thought this is an opportunity to upgrade to something more recent - either
Smoothwall Express or IPCop 1.3... I wonder if there are any objective
reasons for picking one over the other?
Both have all features I would need, and I am also aware creators of
Smoothwall have been slightly less than user-friendly at times :)
I lean towards IPCop at the moment, but one thing I'm slightly concerned about
is that security updates seem more frequent on Smoothwall. Does it mean that
IPCop is more secure, or that Smoothwall team is more diligent about their
updates?
I would really like to hear your opinions on this subject!
