I have a Linux Format CD from the UK from May 2003,
which I picked up in the
local newsagent. It has a distribution called Freevix
on it.
It's download site is http://www.freevix.org

I haven't tried it yet, just started downloading the
latest version.

30MB rootfs (runs from HD/CF/CD/USB/PXE): Freevo & all
runtime deps, python,
perl, mplayer, mencoder, lame, cd paranoia, samba
client, openssh
server/client, Pure-FTPD, XFree86 4.3, lirc and a
complete set of tiny sized
OS tools!
