Could you be reffering to "Tek Support" option menu you get when
pressing CTRL+MiddleMouse in xterm?

I tried that but it didn't help, sort of the right track though,

If there's any old Dec hands out there here is the output from
"show term/full" on the open VMS machine (telneted from linux)

$ show term/full
Terminal: _TNA167:    Device_Type: VT300_Series  Owner: ME
Remote Port Info: Host: 192.168.0.123 Port: 32859

   Input: 9600 LFfill: 0 Width: 80 Parity: None
   Output:   9600     CRfill:  0      Page:   24

   DEC_CRT3           No DEC_CRT4        No DEC_CRT5        No Ansi_Color
   VMS Style Input

The VT300_Series is a lie, I just told it that and it believed me (silly openVMS). The issue is where it says "No Regis" :-(

Any ideas anyone?
(requirement is for Regis support on Linux software terminal emulator)

TIA's

Pete.
