Words in other people's mouths? I hope everyone's good sense trusts the
people who know what they're doing, and doesn't conflate unrelated issues of
software compilation and security.

I think this is an unfortunate answer, because we're not talking about any
single distribution here, and I've demonstrated reasons why your perspective
on security is *NOT* good for your business or customers. You're just not
listening. Scary stuff.
