We've just done our preview release, our final release is on April 6th. If
you're a keen bean for KDE, you'll love Kubuntu. Not only is KDE actively
maintained in Hoary, but it's being done in preparation for our first major
derivative -> Kubuntu... Ubuntu with a K! :-)
