I have tried the Suse 9.3 LiveCD and discovered that it esily found my Dvico Fusion HDTV DVB-T card ( something that I've had no luck with other distros), so I would like to try an install of Suse 9.3.

There are 5 CD' iso's available.

Question - how many CD's are necessary for an install? I'm remembering installs of some time ago where CD 4 and 5 were non-free/source etc and not really necessary in other distros.

I've Googled and can't find this info, nor can I see it on Novell's site.

A post to Usenet alt.os.linux.suse just got the advice to do an ftp install. This is also a bandwidth waste if a re-install becomes necessary.

I don't want to waste time/bandwidth/download limits, and that is why I wont try a DVD iso dload ( apart from the fact that its total size is greater than the 5 CD isos due to including unnneeded 64-bit distro).

Can anybody advise please?

Bill
