My cards are DVB-T PCI cards, and thus you plug an antenna into them.
The only downside with these cards is they dont have UHF in and out.
They only have UHF in, so I had to buy a jaycar UHF splitter and then
run 2 cables to the cards. ie. one cable per each card.

Just as well my tv points for the house use a mast head amp already.
So it makes no difference to either tuners quality.

Welcome to come over and take a peek at the product running.

I found some C program that someone wrote which changes the mapping of
the usb module in memory so that the USB HID remote recv. unit allows
the remote to work perfectly, downside is any USB keyboards plugged in
also have its keys mapped. But most machines sitting in a tv unit
wouldnt have a keyboard

Down the track I'd be tempted to get hold of a Mini-Itx machine and
get it to netboot from the backend with just enough OS nfs mounted to
run a frontend on it remotely over lan. I guess that will wait until I
can afford to buy the gear.
