This much offset is uncorrectable by ntp. Did ntpdate run properly?

Usually there'll be kernel messages in /var/log/kern.log or wherever
they go on your system when the in-kernel phase-locked-loop acquires
or loses synch.   RedHat/Fedora out-of-the box turns off some messages
though, so you may not see them.
