I have a KVM which connected to my Linux box and my wife's XP box.
Both are configured to use the same generic PS/2 optical wheelmouse. If I boot the Linux box with the KVM set to it, GPM and X work fine. If, however, I switch from the Linux box to the 'Doze box and back, the mouse goes into "crazy mode" - movement is erratic and uncontrollable, and button presses randomly happen. The XP box works fine with this. Anyone come across this before and know how to fix it? The mouse type detected by GPM on bootup (when it's done as described above) is imps2 Thanks.
