You could easily be right. In fact, I am beginning to think you ARE
right.

She has to replace her basic phone, and she is running Ubuntu desktop,
so whatever PDA (if any) that she gets needs to talk easily to that.
Since I've never even thought about it before, I have no idea what
incantations are necessary.
