Well you'll certainly get good support from SLUG for Ubuntu.

I found SUSE the best for install and go for wireless etc. Ubuntu (my
mileage) still needed a lot of fiddling.

The next Ubuntu 7.04 may be a little more flexible as its incorporating a
number of commercial drivers etc. but that subject is for another flame war
at another time :-)

Thanks for that. I have used Ubuntu but not Suse. Since I will be
supporting (that's the problem with getting a convert - it's like
saving someone's life: you are responsible for them for evermore) I
might lean to Ubuntu.
