Thanks a lot. mii-tool works fine. I have changed the setting to 100 and 
full-duplex now. I really appreciate the time you have taked to increase my 
knowledge. Hopefully I will join the monthy meeting. Thanks again.

ethtool or mii-tool depending on the NIC.


mii-tool -F 100baseTx-FD eth0

or

ethtool -s eth0 speed 100 duplex full
