That's the way I understand it as well. Ran vmstat over a 15 minute period yesterday that showed no activity at all either in or out of swap. I've been meaning to run it over a longer period today, but with one thing and another I've spent about three minutes actually in front of a computer today. > IBM do a good book on Linux Performance Tuning, which explains this > well.
