Any thoughts on the possibility of using Nortel Contivity client in a W2K VMWare session under Linux, routed through a Netgear WGR613V, ie through two levels of NAT?
Attempting to log on, it gets as far as saying "the secure . . connection has been lost", which is encouraging if not fulfilling. If I was clever I'd be able to trace what was happening. One possible problem is two-way satellite with ping times around 900 mS - I think our Contivity gateway likes to get its ACKs within 1 second. (alternatively, a link to the Linux Contivity client would suffice - that would simplify things. I tried to pick up a trial copy from Nortel but was only taken to an OSX version.)
