G'day Because I do not want to run yet another machine 24x7, my desktop is my server. For various reasons I've decided to Xen my server.
I have a long love-hate relationship with apt-get paradigism, so am toying with Feisty Server for the Xen part. I want dns, ssh, mail, www with multiple sites, mysql, gallery2, spamassassin, openvpn and dovecot on the server. ISPconfig does not fit the bill very nicely! Short of hand editing everything there seems to be no sys-admin handholds. So the invitation is to motivate Feisty Server in place of SuSE 10.2. I don't need cons for SuSE, I already know them <grin>, the pros of yast are pretty significant! James BTW Xen is easy to launch at boot time, VMware is not. -- SLUG - Sydney Linux User's Group Mailing List - http://slug.org.au/ Subscription info and FAQs: http://slug.org.au/faq/mailinglists.html
