In Ubuntu 7.04, snd-powermac is a bit screwed up - seems they changed something in the 2.6.21 kernels but your mileage might vary.
There is a bug open in malone here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-source-2.6.20/+bug/87652 But as for Fedora Core 6, the sound seems to run perfectly on my PowerBook G4 Ti. Try loading the snd-powermac module. You might also want to try the snd-aoa driver if your running a lateish kernel. James On 5/10/07, Craige McWhirter <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:

There's been a large number of improvements, particularly in hardware device management. -- Craige McWhirter Managing Director McWhirter [consulting] http://mcwhirter.com.au/ - 0415958783 -- SLUG - Sydney Linux User's Group Mailing List - http://slug.org.au/ Subscription info and FAQs: http://slug.org.au/faq/mailinglists.html
