yes, yes and yes. Bigpond needed a hearbeat client, With the upgrade to the new billing system ( they are ) still in the process of rolling people over, you do not need the heartbeat any more. I read in one of the whirlpool forums, that some people had problems whilst still using the heartbeat daemon and being on the new billing system.
