Cygwin1.dll is GPL'd with an exception for any OSI approved FOSS licence. If you distribute a binary it must be under an OSI approved FOSS licence. There are proprietary versions of cygwin available from redhat. -Rob -- GPG key available at: <http://www.robertcollins.net/keys.txt>.
