Hi Simon,
I used Cycas to do my plans for my renovation a couple of years back. I
liked the way I could easily set up the wall thicknesses and used the 3D
part to place windows and doors in the right place and at the right
size. I found it easier to use than QCAD although both packages are good
however, depending on the packages you have used in the past, you may
find it differently.
