webdav is probably the only other thing that comes to mind for the http bit. It works over http, but is not a 'webpage' like a DMS is. What you need is a way to tie the webdav auth to samba auth(pam should be fine). And a some instructions on setting up webdav for common OSes (which nearly all of them support in some form or another)
