Hi, Thanks very much to the gentlemen who helped with my previous question.
I've discovered the webpage https://wiki.ubuntu.com/NetworkManager/Hardware/3G which lead me to understand that my USB wireless device is a "ZeroCD" device, which is seen as usb_storage. This lead me to bug #259028 "devices detected by usb-storage maybe need modeswitch" at https://bugs.launchpad.net. This lead me to http://www.draisberghof.de/usb_modeswitch However, the latest usb_modeswitch.conf does not contain information for the modem I purchased, so I've been unable to determine the proper parameters for running usb_modeswitch. Has anyone used Telstra Prepaid Wireless Broadband, with the ZTE device "Model MF626"? Any else been able to get a 'ZeroCD' device working? Am I correct to be trying usb_modeswitch?
