Hi All,
I have a Linksys wrt54g2 wireless router which plays very happily with
the Linksys wmp54g wireless network card under Ubuntu 8.04 with no hassles.

Problem 1: (most critical to me as I used WEP rather than WPA because my
laptop system did not support WPA)

I cannot get my Orinoco card in my laptop (also running Ubuntu 8,04) to
connect at all. It just keeps cycling through the request for the WEP
key and won't connect.

Problem 2 (just curious about this one)

I cannot get any other distro (including the latest Debian, SuSE 11.0,
Gentu 2008, Fedora 9 and Sabyon)to even recognise the Linksys card in my
Desktop (Note: Ubuntu calls it a RaLink RT2561/RT61 802.11g).

I've looked at google, but keep running into dead ends. Any clues for
problem 1 would be appreciated as I need my Laptop to connect.

I'm happy to accept that the other Linux distros can't handle Linksys.

Heracles
