Hi SLUGers I install Fedora 10 on to my Desktop and Laptop the last few days. No prob with the Laptop went in like a dream total 20min in all. But the Desktop did then i install the nVidia package for my GeForce 7300 GS video card and it went wrong, now i don't have a GUI desktop i have a blank screen. this is what i did in order.
1) Install Fedora 10 and additional packages (Video 800x600 working). 2) Installed kmod-nvidia, kmod-nvidia-2.6.27.5-17.fc10.i686, xorg-x11-drv-nvidia, and xorg-x11-drv-nvidia. 3) Restarted the computer. 4) set the display to 1280x960 with the nvidia utility GUI. 5) Restarted the computer. 6) Now looking at Black Screen. Note: Ctrl+Alt+F4 does give me command line access What have I done wrong or have i missed something. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Ps.
