if it's anything like my setup you'll probably find pulseaudio keeps
breaking like it did on 8.04. I don't know what advantages pulse has
by my audio has been flaky, inconsistent and poor at handling
simultaneous inputs since I upgraded.

I usually just find the pid for pulseaudio and kill -9 it.
