Hi all,

I've got a mini-atx motherboard for which the temperature sensor
doesn't seem to give useful results:

    > cat /proc/acpi/thermal_zone/THRM/temperature
    temperature: 40 C

It gives this result of 40 degrees regardless of whether the machine has
just been switched on in a room which has an ambient temp of 23 or whether
it is running noticably hot (and probably with a CPU temp above 40 degrees).

The system is running Ubuntu Hardy and has all the usual ACPi related
packages installed.

ii acpi 0.09-3ubuntu1 displays information on ACPI devices
ii acpid 1.0.4-5ubuntu9 utilities for using ACPI power
management
ii acpidump 20061130-1 utilities to dump system's ACPI tables
to an
ii acpitail 0.1-1 Show ACPI information in a tail-like
style
ii acpitool 0.4.7-1ubuntu1 a small, convenient command-line ACPI
client
ii libacpi0 0.2-1 general purpose library for ACPI

Anybody have any suggestions on how to get this working?

Cheers,
Erik
