Please, can anyone help. I can't get my microphone to work in skype. It's driving me nuts; i've spent the last couple of hours twiddling knobs like crazy and making repeated calls to the test service.
If I load audacity and get it to monitor input and then do a skype it works but it's horrible - too much gain or something. But at least this tells me it's working in some shape or form.
