I recently built a new (second hand) pc for the missus with Ubuntu 9.04, I
had to replace the mouse as it was a woeful ball mouse, so I picked up a
cheap Laser brand USB keyboard and mouse (
http://www.shopbot.com.au/pp-laser-optical-5-button-mouse-usb-mouse-4du-price-35014.html).
The keyboard works fine but the Mouse stops working properly (clicks
don't register, and gksudo says it can't grab the mouse) and stops the
keyboard from working in all but the focussed window.
I have tried plugging the mouse into different USB ports, with no success.
I think I need a different module, but I don't know which one, any
suggestions?
