Unfortunately I don't know much about setting a stand up at a convention but
I would be willing to help out and I would like to know what getting a stand
set up involves doing. I lived in Japan for 2 years so needless to say I'm
up to date with the anime that's out there. I can speak laymen English, and
geek, also some Japanese. I run Linux desktops at home and servers at work.

I think your inkling is right, there would be lots of linux users attending
fairs like this it could be a great way to attract fresh blood or at least
keep touch with other users out there.
