Great to note that they are making slight changes. But I'm not impressed
by the fact that its prohibited disclosure? Why is there a need to hush
hush this whole issue?

I've no idea what Mojo the GStreamer guys are up to, but I'm running Ubuntu Feisty, and I can view that page just fine. I honestly can't recall what, if anything I did to Feisty to get proprietary codec support.
However I *do* agree that "My Desktop Hates Freedom" as a result of all the
proprietary bits tacked onto it. It should not be a near felony to watch the NDP.
