Crashes are distro-dependent. Cinelerra is heavily in use by commercial
companies; professional environments. You should ensure your copy is that of
cinelerra-cv.
Not to be harsh, but I'm of the opinion that crashes are unacceptable.
Even more so if the software is crash-prone when I'm using binaries from
an official source(|repository.akirad.net|) for my distro of choice
(Ubuntu Hardy). I'm certainly not going to change distro to get a
software package to work :)
