Shouldn't we get Canon to answer that? Surely , LUGS is not answerable
for every political/business/personal decisions that
govt/companies/people make??

In the first place , he got no choice but to use Linux because he
couldn't afford Windows. (should we complain to Toyota club because I
can't afford a Toyota and my free bicycle from a friend can't go as fast
as I would like?)

Second , he never mentioned where he went to and what he did to solve
it. (That is sure bring out a lot of complications whichever solutions
we choose)

Third , he doesn't even mention which distribution or which version he
is using?? That will bring about another set of problems.

Fourth and most importantly , without significant information , nobody
can solve any problem never mind computers or motor cars. Imagine if I
tell you that my car broke down in while driving on the highway , can
anyone solve what happened?

This kind of question is a death trap. We will be blamed whichever way
we reply , there is no way out. Even if we get correct answer with our
first reply and assuming that he ( not a technically proficient person I
presume ) can do it as we mean it , we and Linux will still be blamed
for being difficult to use.

Also , pls take note that he is using online filing of tax ... if IRS
doesn't get his tax on time , I don't need Einstein to tell me who he is
going to blame on.
