Hi,

I've just moved house & the arrangement of rooms at the new place does
not permit drawing an ethernet cable from my desktop to the Starhub
modem. So I am considering getting a desktop wireless (PCI) card.

Does anyone have any recommendations on which card to buy? I'm worried
if I go & pick some random card, I'll be stuck using ndiswrapper or
compiling drivers from source. Anyone know of a card which works out
of the box with a recent kernel? FWIW, I'm running Ubuntu Gutsy at the
moment. Bonus points for pointing out the shop too :-)

The alternative would be to get a wireless bridge & use ethernet to
connect the desktop to the bridge. But I want to avoid extra hardware
& extra cables if possible.

Looking forward to some advice!

Cheers,

Deepak
