I can come in parts or assembled.  It runs by itself - no need for
a computer.  needs a power source nonetheless.  The IDE is
runs on Linux, the language is C and all things considered a
good board.

Yes, those would be use cases for this.  There are numerous projects
that can get primary school kids interested in electronics with this tool.
Unlike the lego stuff, this is relatively cheap, runs on Linux etc etc.

There is a Singapore "outlet" sgbotics.com that sells this and other
boards/kits.
